A Study Of Speech Sounds Of Fengcheng Meilin And Its Ascription’s Further Discussion

Fengcheng (MeiLin) dialect belongs to Gan dialect, which was once attributed toYiliu region Gan dialect. First, In this article, I introduce the Fengcheng(Mei Lin)phonetic system based on our study in rural area, and discussed the features of that bya diachronic comparison of the "Guangyun" phonetic system. Second, A comparisonof Fengcheng (Mei Lin) phonological structure against Nanchang dialect and Yichundialect is made respectively, which explores surface and deep relationship amongFengcheng dialect and Nanchang dialect, Yichun dialect. At last, I further explore farand near relationship among Fengcheng dialect and Nanchang dialect, Yichun dialectbased on the sociolinguistic study.By the study of both aspects of Dialectology (pronunciation) and Sociolinguistics,it shows that Fengcheng (MeiLin) is attributed to Changjin region Gan dialect ismore reasonable.
