A Phonetic Study Of Lankao Dialect

Located in the northeast of Henan Province, the city of Lankao belong to Kaifeng City. Lankao dialect belongs to Zhong yuan dialect of northern mandarin Chinese. This paper has made a description and an analysis of the phonetic system of the Lankao dialect. According to several times on-the-spot investigation , It brings to light its interior structure and features, and also attempts to discover laws governing the changing and development of Anguo dialect.The dialect has 24 initials, 42 finals and 4 tones. Looked from the quantity, There has little difference between Lankao dialect and Standard Chinese,but there has a considerable difference on Specific operation.By diachronic comparison, compared Lankao dialect with Guangyun and we found the law that the pronunciation of the Lankao dialect evolved from ancient to present: The aspect of initials mainly included the evolutionary characteristics of JianYin and Tuan Yin> characters of Zhixi,words of "Jian"and"Xiao"groups and words of "ri" and so on; The aspect of finals mainly included the evolutionary characteristics of the rhyme group such as Guo group,Xie group,Shan group and so on; The tones of Lanka~o dial ect was similar to that of northern dialect, having no entering tone and characters of entering tone was attach-ed to Yinping tone and Yangping tone according to the difference of Qing and Zhuo .By diachronic comparison, there were significant differences in the inner of Lankao dialect. The paper analyzed the differences at length in regions, in written language and spoken language and in ancient and present, defining approximately the boundary of the difference in the inner of Lankao dialect.In addition, on the basis of analyzing from lasted and contemporary angles, the author tried to find out the main reason that Lankao dialect formed. The author thought the producing of Jin dialect by many Ming Dynasty immigrants was the most important reason that Lankao dialect formed and Lankao dialect shutting itself off from the world also had a great influence on the evolution of Lankao dialect.Finally this paper has made an analyze and contrast with surrounding area, think that Lankao dialect should belong to luosong section of Zhong yuan dialect.
