Chinese education overseas has a long history in Cambodia, but it can’t develop very smoothly. Since the early 90’s, Chinese education overseas in Cambodia have developed after more than 20 years, and gradually have been on the track. The thesis gives us a full description and argumentation which is the scale of Chinese teaching, the history of Chinese teaching, the status of Chinese-Cambodian students’ learning, and the status of local Chinese teachers and teaching materials by the approach of questionnaire, conversation, statistical analysis, literature collection. And by the study to other countries’ experience in Chinese education overseas included in the system of national education, for example, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, we will look forward to that Chinese education overseas in Cambodia included in the system of national education. The purpose of the thesis is that could improve the Chinese education overseas in Cambodia by the analysis of the status of Chinese teaching in Cambodia. |
