In order to learn the traits of the ability to be alone, social support, mental health and subjective well-being among adolescents; tested the correlation between the ability to be alone, social support, mental health, and subjective well-being of among adolescents; tested the predictive effect among this variables.Four questionnaires were used for 300 adolescents from Zhou Nan middle school of Changsha which were distributed by the proportional of gender, grade, and region in this study. There were 653 data of questionnaires were used and analyzed by SPSS 17.0.The results show that:(1) There was no significant difference in gender, grades, region on the ability to be alone of adolescents.(2) There was no significant difference in gender, grades, region on social support of adolescents.(3)The ability to be alone of adolescents and subjective well-being have no significant correlation, but there was significant correlation with mental health, the correlation coefficient was 0.177.(4)The correlation between social support and subjective well-being was 0.470, and the correlation between social support and mental health was -0.172.(5)The ability to be alone of adolescents predicted positive effect on mental health.(6)The social support could predict positive effect on subjective well-being and negative effect on mental health.Conclusion:(1) There is no difference on the development of the ability to be alone of adolescent.(2) There is no difference on the development of the social support of adolescent.(3) The higher level of the ability of adolescent, the level of mental health is lower.(4) The higher level of social support of adolescent, the level of mental health is higher, the level of subjective well-being is higher.
