The Research On Noun Suffix Of Pinghua Dialect In Northern Guangxi

This paper focuses on noun suffix of the Pinghua dialect in northern Guangxi. Based on analysis of vocabulary, we try to description the characteristics of noun suffix, such as phonetic form, word formation and semantic features. In order to further explore the relationship between those dialects. We conducted statistical data of the typical noun affixes (Zi-子). According to the conclusion of the data, Pinghua dialect in northern Guangxi probably can be divided into three parts, namely Wenxiu area(including Xingangaoshang, Ziyuanyandong, Quanzhouwenqiao, Guanyangguanyinge, Yangshuoputao, Fuchuanxiushui); Liangtang area (including Linguilianjiang, Linguiyining,Yongfutangbao); Zhonghe area(including Hezhouzhongshang, Hezhoujiudu)There are seven chapters in this paper. Chapter 1 serves as a brief introduction.Introduces the general situation of North Guangxi area, the survey of affix research and the main contents and research methods of this paper. The second part is chapter 2-5. This part focuses on the noun suffixes "Zi (-子) ""Er (-儿) ""Tou (-头) "and"　gender　markers (-公、-牯,-婆-娘、-母) "of Pinghua dialect in northern Guangxi. Enumerated a lot of vocabulary materials and then analysis from three aspects, including pronunciation form, word formation and semantic.The third part is chapter 6.In this chapter we try to use software SPSS for the data statistics of "Zi(-子)", and try to provide a reference for the subarea of Pinghua dialect in northern Guangxi. The last part is a conclusion and summed up all the paper briefly.
