| As the constantly improving of Chinese comprehensive national strength and international influence, Chinese has become one of the most important languages in the world and still holds its popularity. With the bilateral cooperation between China and Thailand continues to deepen Chinese education in Thailand has came into a period of vigorous development especially since we entered the 21st century. Thailand began to vigorously develop the occupation technology education from the 1970s,and also increased the Chinese courses in order to meet the increasing needs of the Chinese people. Practice and communication are the focus of the education in Thailand, and their colleges have certain particularities in the school size, mode of management, faculty and student backgrounds. Through my experience in Chanthaburi Technical College, I have come to realize some problems in their teaching of Chinese.In this article, I have came up with several solutions to these problems base on the spirit of the combination of theory and practice, and strive to find a suitable method for the teaching of Chinese of the technical colleges in Thailand.The main contents of this paper are as follows:The first chapter is the introduction, describes the background, reason and significance of the selected topic, find out some of the Chinese education in Thailand literature and writing ideas of this paper, the research object and research methods.The second chapter introduces the status quo of the teaching of Chinese in the technical colleges in Thailand. Focusing on the basic situation of the Chanthaburi Technical College.The third chapter is about some problems existing in this college, such as the lack of attention to the teaching of Chinese, the confusion of the management, deficiencies in teachers and teaching equipments, ambiguity about the teaching plan, and the misuse of teaching materials.The fourth chapter is the key part, starting from the external conditions and teaching Chinese as a foreign language, hoping to find out the solutions to the problems that mentioned before. External’s conditions includes increasing investment in education, scientifically planning and management, and using teaching materials more suitable for students.In the mean time, the teachers should improve their abilities to cultivate the student’s interest in learning, so the students can gain more in Chinese. |
