The movies “Amores perros”, “21 grams” and“Babel”which were directed by the Mexico’s director-Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu were considered as his “Gulf Trilogy”. These three movies are the masterpiece of the director. They also express the blazing personal style of Inarritu. They all have a consistent theme which conveys the focus on the condition of human existence and the situation of human spirit especially the communication difficulties topic. Although the society is improving constantly, the communication of human beings is becoming more convenient;however, people are more likely to block themselves. People raise the concept of“global village” in the Globalization nowadays in order to make the temporal and spatial distance of different regions, countries curtail immeasurably. But problems such like War, discrimination and barriers are accompanied by human society all the time. As a consequence, the value of the focus on the theme “BARRIER” is significant.This assignment can be classified as three segments. The first one is the analysis of the theme “Gulf Trilogy”, the perspective of the focus on “Barrier” is expanding continually. The second one analysis the effect on expressing the theme by the extremely personal style of the camera language. The third one analysis the narrative style of these three films in order to understand the contribution of narrate method,the character setting, story and details in representing the theme of the films.
