Emotional expression is the most important but also abstract factor in dance performances. How to succesfully teach students to perceive emotion in dance plays an important role in dance education. This essay brings this as a start point condocted a discussion and attempt stressing on how to get through the theory and practice of Chinese Folk dance and emotional teaching, how to find basic rules that shared among skills, forms and contents, how to input fresh impetus to dance by emotional education and achieve the unification between "forms and feel" and "skills and emotion".In this paper, the auther starts from the current status of Chinese ethnic and folk dance classes, combines teaching methodology, emotion theory and teaching practice trying to carry out a systematic exploration, and strive to provide a meaningful reference for the wholeness and expansion of emotion education in Chinese ethnic and folk dance.
