The Feasibility Study On The School-based Curriculum Development For Waving Dance Of Tujia Nationality

Tujia nationality is one of minority nationalities with a long history, people in there lives in hinder-land of our country. Hands-waving dance is a widely spread primitive fete dance. It mainly talks about national migration, labor production, national religion. It is also an encyclopedia of Tujia nationality. With the continuously increasing of new curriculum content in the education reform, bringing national traditional sports into the ordinary colleges and universities is an inevitable trend of course content, which is also the heated discussion topic of education reform. This paper selects the hands-waving dance which has a great influence on the national tradition sports project of Tujia nationality under the background of the continuous reform of higher education, and discusses its significance and principle in colleges and universities, in order to further pay attention to this thesis of national traditional sports teaching in universities, and bring increasingly high-quality national traditional sports into the sports teaching in colleges and universities.The paper analyzes the importance of bringing hands-waving dance of Tujia nationality into education, its history and functional value of inheritance and the development of curriculum resource. Moreover, the related concepts of hands-waving dance has been defined in this paper, and clarifies the connotation of them. To collect first-hand information on hands-waving dance in colleges and universities to establish the feasibility has carried on the empirical research by questionnaire in this paper, the statistical analysis shows that the setting of hands-waving dance can improve students’ participation in physical education, better the relationship among students, and enhance students’collective cognition and national feelings, pleasure and so forth. Furthermore, it has a very important effect on the study of Tujia hands-waving dance teaching plans. It turned out to be completely feasible in institutions of higher learning by the teaching practice. What’s more, to develop school-based curriculum in Tujia hands-waving dance, there are a lot of work to finish, from the aspects such as guiding ideology, curriculum goal, open strategy to do further research. Only in this way can we truly better the school-based curriculum of Tujia hands-waving dance, and make the excellent cultural heritage inherited and carried forward.
