Compared to the traditional paper-materials, audio-visual teaching method based on audio-visual materials produced in the Teaching of Chinese as a Forign Language plays an increasingly important role. Audiovisual teaching allows teachers to use more intuitive, simple and vivid ways to express and elaborate on the contents. The visual and auditory stimulation can secure students more durable and solid impression of what they learn. In addition, audio-visual teaching method creates the language environment to better help students deepen their understanding of Chinese language and the Chinese culture.But the practical way of audiovisual teaching in the Chinese classroom overseais limited. Chinese language education around the world is with various geographical features, same as learner’s study habits. In the Intermediate Chinese class at Peru Puno San Carlos University, a survey was answered by students, understanding local needs and interests of students’ learning tendency and audio-visual teaching method devised, for the principles of the actual needs in class lesson plans. In this paper, after the implementation of lesson plans in the classroom, the students were interviewed as the feedback for the reflection and development in the future research.
