The Study Of Modal Particles In Tangshan Dialect Of Hebei

Modal particles are unique grammatical features of Sino Tibetan language, it is used frequently, and the usage is complex; modal particles occupie a very important position in the lexical category system of modern Chinese. The modal particles in C hinese dialects are both rich and characteristic, which play a very important role in people’s communication. Different dialects have their own system of modal particles, so the modal particles of the dialect have great research value. This paper is a study of the modal particles in Tangshan dialect of Hebei Province, Tangshan dialect belongs to the dialects of Ji Lu Mandarin district Baotang tablet.This paper intends to draw lessons from the research results of the modal particles in Mandarin, using the methods of description, analysis and comparison, to collect and collate the modal particles in Tangshan dialect. The grammatical meaning and syntactic function of the modal particles in Tangshan dialect from the perspective of synchronic to make a comprehensive, detailed description and analysis, and on the base of the description of the system of modal particles in the Tangshan Dialect and related phenomena and issues related to as far as possible to make scientific analysis or description. Through the description of the modal particles in Tangshan dialect, we hope to make a contribution to the study of the modal particles in Chinese dialects.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part: introduction. It is mainly an overview of the study of modal particles, including the definition of the modal particles and the overview of the study of the modal particles in Mandarin, the summary of the study of the dialect modal particles; The general situation of human geography and the study of Tangshan dialect in Tangshan C ity; Explain the research objects, research methods, research significance and the corpus source, style, etc.The second part:the classification and description of the modal particles in Tangshan dialect.In this chapter,two kinds of methods are used to classify the grammatical position and the meaning of the words in the sentence.First,according to the location of distribution,the modal particles in Tangshan dialect are divided into two categories,the modal particles in the sentence and the final modal particles,the modal particles in the sentence includes six:A(啊)、Ai(欸)、Ni(呢)、Me(么)、Shidi(时的)、Dihua(的话).Then,with reference to in the Suzhou dialect modal particles classification,and combined with the specific characteristics of the modal particles in Tangshan Dialect,Tangshan Dialect modal particles are divided into namely condition modal particle,modality particle and used in interrogative sentence final particles,the namely condition modal particle consists of four:Di(的1)、Lie(�'�1)、Ni(呢1)、Zhe(着1);the modality particle include twelve:A(啊1)、Ai(欸)、Ba(吧1)、Bei(呗1)、Di(的2)、Lie(�'�2)、Lou(喽)、Liu(溜)、Me(么)、Ni(呢2)、Zhe(着2)、Zheni(着呢);the used in interrogative sentence final particles are divided into two categories,One is the interrogative modal particle including three:A(啊2)、Ba(吧2)、Bei(呗2);The other is used in interrogative sentence at the end of the namely condition modal particle and modality particle.Through the analysis of a large number of data,the distribution characteristics,functions and significance of the modal particles were summarized.The third part: the use of collocation of modal particles in Tangshan dialect. Through the investigation of the phenomenon of the use of the modal particles, the law of the use of the modal particles in Tangshan dialect is summed up: the namely condition modal particle and modality particle use together, the na mely condition modal particle and interrogative modal particle use together, the modality particle and modality particle use together.The fourth part: the study of the function of the modal particles in Tangshan dialect. The modal particles in Tangshan dialect have three functions: Expressive function, Sentence-completing function, Textual function.The fifth part: conclusion. This part is the summary of the entire study, Based on the synchronic description and analysis of the modal particles in Tangshan d ialect, comparison of the use of modal particles in different regions, summed up the characteristics of the modal particles in Tangshan Dialect, roughly to construct the system of modal particles in the Tangshan Dialect.
