Synonyms teaching plays a significant role in teaching Chinese as a foreign language and it can improve the students’ communicative level in Chinese. Now there are many problems in synonyms classroom teaching, greatly influenced the students’learning efficiency and weakened the Chinese learning enthusiasm. Currently synonyms teaching Chinese as a foreign language mainly teachers teach and students passively accept, while the PBL(problem-based learning) method is a typical teaching method of which the centre is the students and can take a positive effect on improving the interest and the abilities of the students.The purpose of the research paper is analyzing the PBL teaching methodology and the synonym teaching by combining them,and find a sufficient teaching method that integrates Chinese-teaching with a new modern teaching method to improve the enthusiasm of the students and their Chinese using ability,in the meanwhile improve the teaching ability and the development of the theory of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.The research paper could be divided into seven parts in contents.The introduction introduces the reasons, significance and background of this study; The first chapter expounds the synonyms teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language teaching,including object of differentiating synonyms in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, the reason of misuse, to differentiate the value and the current problems of synonyms for teaching Chinese as a foreign language;Second chapter overview of PBL teaching method, including the definition of PBL teaching method, theoretical basis and advantage;The third chapter expounds the PBL teaching method is applied to the feasibility study of synonyms for teaching Chinese as a foreign language;The fourth chapter from the perspective of theory with practice, applys PBL teaching method to near synonyms in teaching Chinese as a foreign language teaching design and relevant conclusions was drawn through the teaching test and analysis results, and then reflect on the shortcomings;The fifth chapter in this pape rintroduces the suggestions. Epilogue part mainly introduces the research conclusion of this article, namely through the teaching experiment and test results analysis of the PBL teaching method is suitable for synonyms for teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and to improve students’ learning efficiency synonyms, and easy to operate and promote.
