Objective: through the six experiments of cognitive function in patients with different depression level, the study aims to reveal the feature of cognitive im of depression patients and related factors, provides a new perspective of clinic evaluation in depression. Methods: Use depression patients(n = 69)as the research object, using visual continuous performance test(CPT), the Stroop colour word test, mental rotation test task, target words task and n-back task to study the sustained attention, inhibition, mental rotation ability, short-term memory, implicit memory and working memory in depression patients, to discuss the damage characteristics of cognitive function, and system analysis.the relationship between cognitive function level and factors such as depression severity level(MMPI depression scale), course, starting or recurrence, drug or not, gender, age and education. Results: 1.Sustained attention level: in the CPT task, non-response rates the false rate and reaction time of depression group is greater than the healthy control group, with significant difference(p = 0.000, p = 0.000, p = 0.000)., The CPT task non-response rates and reaction time reached significant level in different severity depression. group(p = 0.000, p = 0.040), different course group in CPT task false rate and reaction time on reached significant difference level(p = 0.003, p = 0.003), the medicine group and the no medicine group reached significant on CPT task non-response rates(p = 0.029). The partial correlation between CPT task non-response rates of depression group of and MMPI depression scale score reached significant level(p = 0.023), and a significant regression(p = 0.000).2. Inhibition level: in the Stroop task, the error rate of depression group index is greater than the healthy control group, with significant difference(p = 0.003). Stroop task error rate of different severity depression group reached significant level(p = 0.000). The partial correlation between Stroop task error rate of depression group and MMPI depression scale score reached significant level(r = 0.015), and a significant regression(p = 0.013).3. Psychological operation function level: mental rotation task, error rate and reaction time in depression group were greater than healthy controls, with significant difference(p = 0.028, p = 0.028). Different severity of depression group, the start or recurrence group on mental rotation task error rate and reaction time difference reached significant level(p = 0.001, p = 0.001; p = 0.012, p = 0.043), reaction time of different course group reached significant level(p = 0.031), The error rate between medication group and no medicine group reached significant level(p = 0.003).The partial correlation between error rates of depression group and MMPI depression scale score reached significant difference(r = 0.021), and a significant regression(p = 0.000).4. Short-term memory level: In the target word task, the error rate of depression group is greater than the healthy control group, with significant difference(p = 0.006). The partial correlation between reaction time and MMPI depression scale score has a significant meaning(p = 0.043).5. Implicit memory Level: in the target word task, there was no significant difference between the error rate of depression group and healthy controls(p = 0.310, p = 0.310). The error rate and reaction time of different depression level group reached significant level(p = 0.028, p = 0.028).6. Working memory level: in task 2-back and 3-back, the error rate of depression group is greater than the healthy controls, difference reached significant level(p = 0.001, p = 0.001); But has no significant difference between reaction time(p = 0.070, p = 0.070). In task 0-back and 1-back, the difference of reaction time and the error rate beween depression group and healthy controls were not reached significant level(p = 0.169, p = 0.076; p = 0.078, p = 0.346).Conclusion: 1. Sustained attention, inhibition, mental rotation ability, short-term memory, working memory can use as the index for depression evaluation The sustained attention, inhibition, mental rotation ability, short-term memory, working memory of depression patients has obvious impariments; patients with moderate or more depression level have obvious damage compared with normal group.2. The sustained attention, inhibition, psychological operation ability and short-term memory impair degree in depression patients have significant positive correlation with depression level(MMPI depression scale score), and have no significant correlation with other factors; Depression in patients with implicit memory impairment associated with all factors are not significant. CPT error rate and stroop task error rate have regression prediction effect.3. Five delimitation value are identified in sustained attention, inhibition, mental rotation ability, short-term memory and working memory in depression patients and health control group, provides evaluation and standard for depression severity assessment.
