Jarud Mongolian Children’s Name Status And Intercultural Communication Research

In this article we first received the names of 5247 Mongolian childrens born in 1994-2014 from Bayinmangha primary school, Mongolian experiment elementary school (preschool and primary school), Mongolian second middle school, Mongolian first high school in Jarud as research materials.It contains the names written in Mongolian and Chinese,sex, nation, date of birth, native place, shool record, grades, parents’name and telephone numbers. Use Description Method to analyze and label the sex, the family name, the origin, characteristic and length of the word. Thus we established "the database of Mongolian children’s name in Jaurd of 20 years before and after the new century " as the basis of the data in this paper.The paper consists of introduction, text and summarizes. The introduction mainly introduced the causes of the selection of the subject and the research object, data sourses and the research methods, research purpose and significance as well as research situation.In the text, we first briefly introduced the environment and human culture and status quo of Mongolian children’s names in Jaurd. Jaurd is a farming-pastoral region. It is very common to named the children by their parents there. The name named in the baby’s first month birthday, taken into account both Mongolian culture and Chinese writing in the most. The Mongolian names are the most of Mongolian children in Jaurd and account for fifty-four point eight percent. The names have no family name are more than that have family name and account for sixty-eight point five percent. The number of the boys who have family name are more than the girls and account for thirty-three point three percent. The noun used the most in the names and account for fifty-two point five percent, then the adjective, verb, adverbial and numeral. Verb used the most in the girls’names, asides, numeral all used for the boys’names. In the children’s names, one-word-name is the most and account for seventy-four point two percent.Secondly, we expounded the cultural value orientation of Mongolian children’s names in Jaurd, that is the diversity of cultural value orientation of children’s names named after noun, adjective, verb, adverbial and numeral in the Mongolian names. The names named after noun reflect the love of Mongolian culture, the respect of nature, the love of hometown and hopes of the future for their children. The names named after verb reflect the patriarchal ideology. The names named after numeral are mostly associated with the elder’s birthday. In the names written in Chinese, we use the way of writing to distinguish, the first word of name, the love of foreign culture and glyph of expression, etc.Finally, we analyzed the influence by Chinese culture, western culture, the trace of Vatican, Tibetan, Persian, Russian and Kasakhstan culture on Mongolian children’s names in Jaurd. Mixed with Han nationality, in terms of etymology, structure and the mentality of naming is under the influence of Han culture and tending to terse form. The development of information technology and the improvement of the level of culture, the influence by the western culture Chinese writing style, the choice of words and the mentality of naming is more and more great. However, the effects of Vatican, Tibetan, Persian, Russian and Kasakhstan culture increasingly vague, so called it traces, instead of effects.
