Teaching of listening Chinese as a foreign language is an important part in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. It has been a dull impression on the students.Anchored instruction theory emphasizes the teaching in the real or similar to the real situation,take the student as the center,to encourage students to self-study,pay attention to the cultivation of students’ autonomous learning ability. In recent years,anchored instruction theory was applied to many disciplines, such as language teaching,which has made great achievement. In this paper,the author tries to apply anchored instruction theory to intermediate teaching of listening Chinese as a foreign language. Choose students who are in medium level Class3 learn Chinese in Shanghai Normal University as the research object,through a semester of teaching practice,tries to verify whether anchored instruction can arouse the class atmosphere,change students’ view about listening course,stimulate students’ interest in learning Chinese,improve the students’ participation in class and improve the students’ listening level.The first chapter, Mainly introduce the significance and the current research situation of the related content,as well as the related theories and research methods in this paper.The second chapter will introduce the overview of Anchored instruction theory,from connotation,characteristics,theoretical basis and teaching steps are discussed.The third chapter will introduce the Length Approach experiment in Chinese listening.The fourth chapter, The analysis of experimental results and discussion. The survey questionnaire, a case study and listening scores before and after thecomparative analysis and analysis of the classroom observation is analyzed and discussed.The fifth chapter,Summarizes this paper.
