Investigation And Teaching Experiment From "China’s Image" In Teaching Chinese To Speakers Of Other Languages Of Thailand

In 2013, this subject changes its name to Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, which means culture exchange of China changes its way from "bring in" to "go out". Although they have different name, they have the same mission, that is dissemination of Chinese culture and teaching Chinese language. At the same time, with the rise of China, Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages not only disseminate Chinese, but also is the platform of China and the world, the medium of foreigners to explore the mysterious ancient Oriental, the bridge that connect Chinese and foreigners. Because of this, how to using this way to let the world reducing misunderstandings about China become a new concern. Recently, the overseas institutions-----Confucius Institute play its role in public diplomacy, and many scholars are studying how to use Confucius Institute to add gorgeous sum for China’s international image. While, RMB as an international currency, the Belt and Road becoming strategic thinking, China’s development is advantages or disadvantages of the world situation becoming a topic. So it is more and more important to combine cultural dissemination with promotion positive China’s image. As the first line of overseas education, International Chinese Education should undertake the responsibility of promotion China’s image and play an important role.In this paper, author as an example of Satri Angthong school of Thailand, based on the specific classroom experimental and making a survey of what is the China’s image in Thailand students’ eyes. According to the survey, many students think China is a beautiful place, and they want to come to China. So in the next four month, I try to using different way to conduct my teaching plan, such as clothing、 food、 living and traveling. And when I finished these works, I will do the second survey to testing my teaching. The fact is that, these works is succeed. Students can built a preliminary image about China. As for me, these works such as do teaching experiment of China’s image in Thailand International Chinese Education classroom, knowing how to promotion China’s image, building positive image and removing negative image hope can providing reference for all researcher.
