Group cooperative learning is an effective teaching method,but it is seldom used in the teaching of Chinese in Philippines.In this paper, the teaching of Chinese language in Philippines is combined with the group cooperative learning,and according to the characteristics of students in Philippines,use group cooperative learning teaching methods to improve the effect of teaching Chinese.Firstly,the paper analyzes the present situation of the research on the group cooperative learning, and then introduces the theoretical basis of the group cooperative learning. Under the guidance of the theory of group cooperative learning, the author studies the present situation of primary Chinese language in Philippines, and applies the group cooperative learning to the teaching of primary Chinese language in Philippines.After the group cooperation study, the author uses the method of questionnaire,individual interview and test paper to investigate the effect of the group cooperative learning,then summarize and analyze the results of the investigation, and conclude that using group cooperative learning in the primary Chinese classroom in Philippines can improve the effect of Chinese teaching. Finally, aiming at problems in the process of cooperative learning group, teaching suggestions are put forward.
