Language is a tool of communication, and it is the main factor that people understand each other. Kinship terms are an important part of the vocabulary of any language, and they are also very rich. It not only expresses a single family relationship, it also contains the social significance and social influence on the daily contact between people and people. We are living in various aspects of communication can not be separated from the kinship terms, kinship terms marked the widespread social relationships in the community, reflecting the special phenomenon of human culture and psychology. Just as Engels said: "kinship terms in all savage and barbarian peoples social system plays a decisive role... Father, children, brothers, sisters and other names, is not a simple honorary title, but a fully determined, the abnormal solemn mutual obligation to call. The point and face of these obligations is the essential part of the social system of these nations." due to the different countries, nationalities and regions, and way of life in a different language kinship terms also showed different characteristics. Kinship terms in the language of each nation will follow the development of the social development of the nation and the change of the marriage system. Kinship terms reflect the nation’s history, culture, values, cognitive style, way of thinking, customs and habits, and religious beliefs, etc.. Kinship terms will develop and perfect with the marriage system and social development of the nation, and reflect the historical and cultural development of the nation as well as the degree of civilization.China and Mongolia are neighbors, has a long history, the Chinese territory of Inner Mongolia, Qinghai, Gansu, Xinjiang and other places also live a lot of people in Mongolia. Therefore, in order to deepen the understanding of each other’s cultural and social conditions, the study of kinship terms is particularly important.The Mongolian and Chinese kinship terms as the main object of study, using comparative analysis method, the comparison of their respective characteristics, classification, application and type of learning from the perspective of commonness and individuality. In this paper, by the concept and system of the introduction, kinship terms, Mongolian Chinese kinship terms of comparative analysis, analysis, Mongolian and Chinese appellation language typology from the perspective of the commonness and individuality of five parts in Chinese kinship terms generalization compared to Mongolia.
