| Confucius Institute at North South University in Bangladesh is one of the first Confucius Institute overseas, is also the first Confucius institute of South Asia. Self-built court opened since all kinds of Chinese language course, including basic Chinese lessons. Basic Chinese lessons system specification,the learners are distributed in six Chinese levels according to their Chinese level, recruit beginner to level six students, choose "The Great Wall Chinese" survival communication one to six copies as teaching material, focus on cultivating the learners’ communicative ability. Basic Chinese proficiency level class belongs to the non-academic based short-term Chinese comprehensive course, these characteristics determine the level of teaching the importance and particularity.The author was sent to Confucius Institute at North South University in Bangladesh for Chinese teaching and received the basic Chinese proficiency level teaching task in 2015. In spite of after four years of professional learning for Teaching Chinese as a Second language, one year master of Chinese international education study, accumulated a certain amount of Chinese international education theory knowledge, but it is still a lack of experience in teaching. How to apply the theoretical knowledge in the teaching practice, how best to complete the teaching mission became a problem we have to face with.In order to solve this problem, the author choose the Class B students,level one of 2015 fall semester basic Chinese course as research object, through the investigation of students’ basic information and the study situation to get a comprehensive understanding of the particularity of teaching object,combining with the teaching material content in the teaching.And the author extract pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and Chinese character teaching cases to explore basic Chinese class teaching, summarize personal experience in teaching.The author is aim to improve individual teaching ability and strengthen teachers’understanding of the this level teaching.The author hope this paper can provide some useful reference for other teachers in the future and improve the quality of Confucius Institute at North South University of Chinese language teaching, promote the development of the Chinese language teaching. |
