By the end of2012, the number of elderly population in China reached194000000, accounting for14.3%of the total number of the total population,population aging situation is becoming increasingly grim, affected by China’spopulation policy, family endowment pressure is more and more serious.Endowment institutions because of its professional made rapid development,but there are still many problems to be solved, such as policy funds are not inplace, the different nature of pension institutions development is not balanced,but one of the most serious problems is the elderly service personnel training,training is not in place, can not meet the current requirements of thedevelopment of ability and quality of the elderly service problems.This paper from the old social support analysis, analysis of elderlyservice institutions in the main function and role in the body of the old socialsupport, and according to the service content of elderly service institutionswill be elderly services service personnel classification. Analysis of the mainproblems existing in the ability of elderly service institutions and personneltraining, from the three aspects of government macro policy, human resourcemanagement system and talents, found the staff ability of old servicepromotion problems and obstacles.
