In recent years, The number of teachers corporal punishment event Which reported by the media has increased year by year, and the serious consequences has got a lot of publicity. In order to further the analysis of the present situation, the serious consequences and the cause of corporal punishment in schools, so that we can provide a theoretical and empirical research to corporal punishment, this study used the text analysis, questionnaire, and other research methods. And this study use news events and normal college students as the research object, we do some research on the specific situations of corporal punishment in schools the causes, the consequences, the attitude of corporal punishment by normal students, the measures to decrease the number of corporal punishment and some related content.Teachers corporal punishment phenomenon is the result of many factors, the teachers’ concept, psychological structure, the influence of the education teaching way to teacher can direct response to the daily teaching activities, and to exert a subtle influence on students. Social environment factors on the teachers’ professional view and education behavior also have an impact. Teachers corporal punishment research is the essence of education concept, education method, education environment, teachers’ psychological aspects of comprehensive study.Study one:The analysis of school corporal punishmentObjective:To study the current situation of corporal punishment, harm, reason, to presented universality and severity of corporal punishment. Therefore, to provide theoretical and practical information for teacher corporal punishment. Methods:To analysis of corporal punishment news in three years by using the text analysis method. In specific, we make a statistics on the frequency of key words. Results:corporal punishment is very common in school education. It mainly occurred in the primary school and junior high school grades. It happened among boys more than girls. The corporal punishment mainly taken by young female teachers. The main incentive including:Students do wrong topic, they did not finish the homework, and they broke classroom discipline. The results are unsatisfactory.It can’t change the current situation.what’s more, corporal punishment have caused harm to the students, teachers and school. The causes are mainly concentrates on teachers themselves and the external environment. Conclusion:Teacher corporal punishment phenomenon is serious, the harm and the reasons are various, we need more attention form the whole societyStudy two:attitude survey on corporal punishment of normal students.Objective:To understand the attitude on corporal punishment of normal students. on school corporal punishment attitude. Because we believed that individual attitudes have prediction effect on their behaviors in the future. The study of its attitude to a certain extent, to analysis the cause of teachers corporal punishment, which provides theoretical and empirical reference for research on corporal punishment in schools. Methods:a self-designed questionnaire to corporal punishment, we took the normal students as the object. This investigation is from three dimensions-cognition, emotion, behavior tendency. Results:The normal students generally opposed to corporal punishment, but they show some differences in the individual dimension. If the have experience on corporal punishment and score, cognitive dimensions were significant different (t=2.20, p=0.031<0.05; t=2.07,p=0.041<0.05), and there was significant difference compared with the behavior intention (t=3.20, p=0.002<0.01). China’s education Punishment Rights Law is incomplete, students can not distinguish between punishment and corporal punishment, and they did not understand the education laws and regulations are two big problems. Conclusion:The normal university students against the corporal punishment. But the normal university students lack of literacy education law.Study based on hierarchy of needs theory, behavior theory reinforcement theory, theory of social environment, teachers’ personality and student development theory, changing the idea of education and some other psychologic theory. We give some suggestions from the way of education meducation, external environment, teachers’ psychological aspects.
