Curling was introduced into China in a rather late time but enjoys a very rapid pace of development. The fact that Chininese National Curling team have reaped series of awards in competitions draws world’s attention.2014 was a remarkable year for Chinese Curling team. In this year, China’ s national curling team (both men and women) have secured a place in Winter Olympic Games and after which, a significant adjustment of members was going on in the team. This remarks a brand new start for Chinese curling. This paper aims to analyze Chinese national curling team (The personnel in 2014 Olympic Games) according to management view, in order to review the current model of administration and each element in this model. At the same time, the author tried to point out the advantage as well as weakness exist in this model and trace down the reason of these issues. By referring to related theories the author gives a exclusive analysis of current situation of Chinese curling team and suggested solutions on target issues. Hopefully it could shed lights on the manage system of national curling team.By reading literature, initiating interviews and observing in the team, the author reached the conclusion as following:In 20 years of exploration, the team adopted two administrative models:From 2003 to 2012, the team adopted the coach responsibility system from 2012 to now, team committee responsibility system was used. Team committee responsibility system reinforces the predominant status of the athlete and forms a unified-commanded and centralized-managed team. Yet there’s still shortcomings lies in this system, which is in some cases, the athlete fails to give direct feedback to the leader of the committee. In consequences, the leader is not being capable to master all information in time; the comprehensive quality of China’s national team athletes needs to be improved; the coach lacks innovations in training strategies; lacking of scientific research personnel, last but not least, there’ s no psychologist in team concerning counseling works.To conclude, the paper comes up with a coping strategy, which leads in a new concept of utilizing compound coaching system. And the concrete measure includes by using relevant theories and measures to enhance the comprehensive quality of athletes; improve the system of curling coaches training and selection system; getting professional psychologists in the team as well as raising input in scientific research funds and personnel.
