Study On The Developing Process Of Sports Volunteer Service In China Since The Reform And Opening Up

Since the middle twentieth Century, sports volunteer service in the western developed countries has been in vigorous development. Compared with developed countries, China’s sports volunteer service has a late start, but has become an indispensable part of our sports and fitness activities. "Taking history as a mirror, one can know the rise and fall", in-depth analysis of the development course of sports volunteer service in China, understand its historical background, summarizes the characteristics of each stage, clarifying the thread of its development and trend, is conducive to promote the sound development of sports volunteer service in china. In this paper, using the method of literature, comparative analysis, logic analysis, expert interviews and analysis of China’s volunteer service in the course of development, the research conclusions show that:Firstly, in a broad sense, sports volunteer service is to promote the development of sports undertakings, all volunteers, volunteer organizations voluntarily preparation, in sports activities officially launched and subsequent stages provide non altruistic service profit, free. Volunteer service in a narrow sense refers to the voluntary organizations established according to law and volunteers with sports professional knowledge related to publicize the knowledge of sports, sports skill instruction, sports competition service working for free.Secondly, China’s sports volunteer service is rooted in the Chinese social and cultural background and voluntary service in the tradition, but also under the impact of the status of the development of sports itself. Since the reform and opening up in China’s history of sports volunteer service can be divided into:the initial stage (1979-1992), the initial development stage (1993-2000), rapid development stage (2001-2008), multiple stages of development (2009-) four stages.Thirdly, China’s volunteer service in the initial stage, many sports volunteer activities exist in different forms and contents in social life, but most are informal but/embody the spirit of volunteerism activities, and has not formed a volunteer organization dedicated to running. Sports volunteer service in our country the preliminary stage of development, with using a simple management mode of volunteer organization dedicated and began to run, youth groups to anticipate in a wide range of volunteer activities.Fourthly, The rapid development of China’s volunteer service, stage, the Beijing Olympic Games from many aspects to promote the development of sports volunteer service. Sports events volunteers showed a number of large scale, wide source in college students’characteristics, most leading by the government, sports volunteer service management has been improved, voluntary organizations began professional exploration, but the development of the mass sports volunteer service is relatively slow.Fifthly, China’s volunteer service in multiple stages of development, the national fitness volunteer services have been widely carried out, volunteer service in increasing specialization, service concept and activities of the project innovation, service mode increased, at the same time, volunteers constitute features wide application to the diversified development and volunteer information platform. But the national volunteer service legislation introduced slowly.Last but not the least, The development trend of our country, sports volunteer service for the sports volunteer organizations will further specialization, standardization, institutionalization, social participation will be more in-depth, service projects will be more diverse. The role of the common recommendations to strengthen the understanding of sports volunteers, volunteer service for effective management, the use of modern technology to improve the voluntary service system of laws and regulations, government and social organizations.
