College Freshmen Adaptive Research

College students are the hope of the future of the nation, their growth and development not only affect the process of socialist modernization construction,but also be related to the sustainable development of our country and the comprehensive strength of participating in international competition.The transition stage for College Freshmen is very important to their growth and development,so research on adaptive situation,adaptive characteristics and adaptive problems of College Freshmen,which is of great significance for helping freshmen adapt to college life smoothly,so as to their current health and the growth,and it also has an important potential value for their future adaptation of society.The research is based on the topic of " College Freshmen’s adaptation ",which is a school-based research.The author uses the College Freshmen’s adaptation questionnaire as a research tool surveying 485 College Freshmen in H university.The author from four dimensions including College Freshmen’s study,campus life,interpersonal relationship and psychological,to explore the adaptability of them,also the main problems and reason existing in the process of adaptation,Focuses on the differences of College Freshmen adaptive in statistical variables,and the relationship between Social Support and College Freshmen adaptive.The conclusion of the study is that College Freshmen’s study adaptability,campus life adaptation,interpersonal adaptation and psychological adaptability,all of which have significant difference in statistical variables.And it has significant positive correlation between Social Support and College Freshmen adaptive.This paper is divided into six parts:the first part is summarized the significance of college freshmen adaptive research and the current research status. Freshmen’s adaptation not only directly be related to College Freshmen’s current health of body and mind,and also for its future adaptation.The second part is the exposition of concept of adaptability for College Freshmen,including characteristics,influence factors and the relative theory.College freshmen adaptability is that College freshmen in order to better integrate themselves into the new environment,they try to adjust their activities and behavior,and keep balance with the new environment.It includes four aspects,which respectively are the learning adaptability,life adaptability,interpersonal adaptability and psychological adaptability.The third part is the design of investigation.Including the research hypothesis,research tools,questionnaire and statistical analysis,etc.The fourth part is the survey result based on the data statistics.The fifth part is the analyzed and discussed about survey results.Including the cause of the problem,the reason why there are differences in adaptability,as well as the type of correlation relationship between Social Support and College Freshmen adaptability. The sixth part is conclusion and suggestion.Based on the present situation of College Freshmen’s adaptation,we put forward four aspects countermeasures,including strengthen the cohesion of universities and high schools,to promote the integration of education;Carrying out various kinds of entrance education according to individual differences;Improving the Social Support and creating the atmosphere of humanistic care;In order to form education resultant force, parent-school cooperation should be advocated.
