Research purpose:Modern rowing is characterized of multi-competition, intensive and highly competitive. It is necessary that the rower should follow the scientific and reasonable train and systemically supervision, especially in pre-competition training, to maintain great function state in multi-competition and achieve ideal competition results in the matches. In present paper, by observing the variation of the indicators of the rowers’body function state before4weeks of the preliminary and12weeks of the final, characteristics of the training load before12weeks of the matches was analyzed. Furthermore, the reasonability of the arrangement of the pre-competition training load and relationship of the function state and training load were discussed. The research results were believed to supply important references for the coaches and rowers to reasonably adjust the training plan and increase training effects and to make the pre-competition training of rowing more scientific and reasonable.Research methods:1. Research object:8male open-class single oar players of Shanghai Rowing Team2. Research plan:(1) research on variation of rowers’body function state and characteristic of the training load before4weeks of the preliminary and12weeks of the final, which was corresponded with the date of22nd April,2013to19th May,2013and1st July,2013to25th August, respectively. Adopt blood sample on every Monday morning before4weeks of the preliminary in fasting state and after intensive training or on next morning before8weeks of the final in fasting state.(2) Whole tracking process was applied during statistics of the training load structure before the preliminary and final of the National Games to elaborately record the actual training of the rowers. Rowers wore the heart rate monitor in the whole exercise to collect lactic acid instantly on major training.(3) Test standards:physiology and biochemistry standards of function monitor:heart rate (HR), hemoglobin (HB), blood urea (BU), serum creatine kinase (CK), testosterone (T) and cortisol (C). physiology and biochemistry standard of major training:blood lactic acid (LA).Experiment results:1. From the variation tendency of the training load structure during12weeks of the preparation of the National Games, the total training time per week basically matched the total mileage per week:total training mileage increased with increasing total training time and decreased with decreasing training time, which showed consistency in the arrangement of the training time and mileage.2. HB significantly decreased in the4th week (P<0.01) and3rd week (P<0.05) before preliminary and obvious decreased in6th and8th week before final (P<0.01); BU and CK was almost unchanged before preliminary; CK significantly decreased in6th and2nd weeks before final (P<0.01); T significantly decreased in3rd and1st weeks (P<0.05) but was almost unchanged before final; C remained unchanged before both preliminary and final.Conclusions:1. Structure features of the four-weeks training load before qualification contest for the National Games:both total aerobic exercise time and total mileage present "N" style change; anaerobic exercise time and mileage present "single peak" style change.2. Structure features of the eight-weeks training load before final contest for the National Games::both total aerobic exercise time and total mileage present "W" style change. Anaerobic exercise time and mileage present "single peak" style change, which do not change much the first six weeks before final contest and significantly increase at the second week by almost4-fold than prior weeks.3. Structure features of the total aerobic exercise time four weeks before the qualification contest presents "N" and reversed "V" four weeks before final contest. Anaerobic exercise time four weeks before both qualification and final contest presents "single peak". Peak value before qualification contest is in the3rd week and before final contest is in the2nd week.4. Structure features of the total aerobic exercise time four weeks before the qualification contest presents "N" change. Total aerobic exercise time presents reversed "V" four weeks before final contest. Total mileage of anaerobic exercise time four weeks before qualification contest presents inclined "N" change and presents "single peak" style four weeks before final contest. Peak value shows in the2nd week before final contest.5. HB before qualification and final contests is negative correlation with the training load. BU, CK and T are positive correlation with the training load. HB and T reach the highest one week before contest, which indicates that the body function state of the athletes is in good condition.
