Research On Present Situation And Agriculture Industrialization Countermeasures In Xiji County Of Ningxia

Agriculture is the foundation of the country. This has been pointed out in the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China that:we need to vigorously promote the level that agricultural industrialization leads the development of modern agriculture.’Vigorously developing agricultural industrialization can increase farmers’ income and promote the development of rural economy. Agricultural industrialization has been implemented across the country and remarkable results have been obtained, take Xiji county, an impoverished mountain area of southern Ningxia located in the northwest inland, as an example. The agricultural industrialization are only at the primary stage. The selection of agricultural industrialization as the subject of this paper has strong representative in that Xiji county is a microcosm of Ningxia south mountainous area and agriculture is an important index of the county’s economic development. And then drive the development of Xiji county’s agricultural economy through the agricultural industrialization.In this paper, to assure an scientific research, by use the literature study, field research and qualitative analysis. First of all, on the basis of existing research, brief introduction has been given in terms of the connotation and basic characteristics of the agricultural industrialization, and the development situation of agricultural industrialization at home and abroad; Secondly, the current situation of the development of agricultural industrialization and the existing main problems has been discussed. Thirdly, favourable conditions and the existing constraints of developing agricultural industrialization in Xiji county has been analyzed. Finally, several major leading industries for future development of the agricultural industrialization in Xiji county have been determined, according to the selection principles of leading industry. Effective measures to the development of agricultural industrialization have also been put forward.Through in-depth field investigation, put forward the following creative achievements:1. The study further refine on the basis of provincial to county level.2. Under the perspective of research in Hui Autonomous Region, proposal the integration mode through the grass industry and animal husbandry.3. Four major leading industries for future development of the agricultural industrialization in Xiji county have been determined:potato industry area, breeding industry area, characteristics of organic vegetables industy and dry after water agricultural belt.4. To cultivate some corporate champions by introducing fund for an enterprise.
