China is one of the country in the world suffering from serious geological disasters,wheregeographic types are complicatedand various. As the most serious geological disaster type, landslide disasters would pose a threat to the mountain people's lives and property, andundermine the public transport facilities, then can only result in eco-environment break and social economy lose.With the bad effect of the existing landslide monitoring equipment is poor performance, high cost, low real-time performance and outdated technology on landslide monitoring, we introduce a new technology which is Wireless Sensor Network(Wireless Sensor Network, WSN) to new monitoring equipment. The new technology has many advantages such as low power consumption, low cost, flexible networking to medical, military, environmental monitoring, intelligent household and so on. Therefore, in allusion to the weakness of the existing landslide monitoring technology and the actual needs of monitoring landslides, a landslide monitoring is developed and designed with WSN. It achieve sensor data real-time collection, reliable transmission, Ad-hoc networks, remote data transmission and data queries.This article is based on the sensor data collection and wireless communication technology of Zig Bee and GSM, the system is controlled by ARM. Combined with the monitoring means and technical requirements to develop a monitoring system for providing basic data to protect the people in disaster areas and post-earthquake recovery,mainly to complete the work of the following aspects:Firstly, the article studied the situation of the landslide monitoring techniques in the earthquake disasterarea, and analysed the development of WSN technology and researched of its application on monitoring landslide. Combining with practical situation on site, the rainfall,slope, surface displacement are sated to monitor landslide as the three key parameter.Secondly, the paper in-depth studied realization of landslide monitoring system and designed overall scheme and flow of system. The system would use SRY – 1 rain gauge,SCA100 T sensors, MIRAN sensor to collecet rain, slope, surface displacement data. At the same time, from TI company's CC2530 to realize Zig Bee communication, using SIMCom company's SIM900 A to send data to the remote monitoring center.Thirdly, wireless sensor nodes were designed. These were collection circuit, communication circuit, source circuit. Completed the system's design of software and hardware to transfer wireless data using networking technology, and also realized sensor nodes data collection and memory auto matically.Finally, studied method of WSN's arrangement at actual site and established the monitoring demonstration at this area.In conclusion, this paper mainly studied data real-time collection and remote transmission technology of landslide monitoring system. By establishing demonstration to monitor for a long time, WSN can accomplish networking, monitoring, transmission effectly, then provided the level of landslide safety monitoring, enriched the means of landslide disaster, realized 24 hours a day to monitor automatically.
