At present,detection environmental assessment of meteorological observation station is completed by the artificial method.This traditional evaluation method often need to spend a lot of manpower and material resources,and the results of the evaluation is added a lot of subjective factors,leading to the results of the evaluation is not objective.To solve this problem,this paper proposes a panoramic image processing based meteorological observatory detection environment assessment method.Based on digital image processing technology,it collects some adjacent region overlapping regions images of observation field around.Researching and analysising images by image mosaic,image preprocessing,image information extraction algorithm,which extracts the pixel coordinates of the highest obstacle around the panoramic image.and establishes meteorological observation station detection environment model.On this basis,using Visual Studio Microsoft 2010 platform designed a set of meteorological observation station detection environment evaluation system.Main research contents of this paper are as follows:1)In this paper,cylindrical panoramic image mosaic method is uesd to generate meteorological observation station detection environmental panorama.In extracting feature points,Sift algorithm is used to extrach the feature points of image,and the Sift feature points remain the same on scale changes,rotation changes,illumination changes.In feature marching,focusing on the shortcomings of RANSAS algorithm which need complex compution and numberous iterations,this paper present a feature vector matching algorithm which is based on the distance constraints.In image fusing,a fade-in and fade-out fusion algorithm is used,which is improved based on weighted average fusing algorithm.After generating the panorama,the panorama is preprocessed and its edge pixel coordinates are extracted.2)By analysing the evalution indicators of the meteorological observation stations detection environment,and extracting relationship between edge pixel coordinates and basic datas,shielding orientention and area are caculated around observation field,which is not in line with the requirement of the evaluation index.3)To test the meteorological observation station detection environment evaluation system,the system is trial operated by Luquan Meteorological Observatory in Hebei Province.The evaluation results of the system are basically consistent with which of manual evaluation.
