Huanxiling area is one of the oil and gas producing areas in Liaohe depression, the study area in the east is the biggest main diluted oil block Jin-16,west is the biggest main viscous oil block Jin-45.This paper is conducted based on geology, and from the perspective of hydrocarbon migration pathway, migration agent and favorable regional gathering, discussing the favorable position for hydrocarbon accumulation,so as to provide the basis for furth oil and gas exploration direction and optimizing exploration targets.A research of hydrocarbon accumulation characteristics of research area is conducted by adopting synthetically fine strata correlation and classification, seismic data interpretation, reservoir inversion and prediction new theories and methods,to analysis the study of sand body and fault pathway elements, also and migration agent.Via the study, the sand body and faults of research area are ascertained, sand bodies are well-connected from Sha1 and Sha2,the faults are mainly active in the sedimentation of Sha2.The research area mainly development sand body-fault path system. The main vertical migration pathways are faults, the main lateral migration pathways are sand body, under the influence of the agent and path system, hydrocarbon could be able to migrate to faults along the sand body after are expelled from source rocks, then it migrate to shallow sand body to accumulate along the fault.
