Shale gas is a kind of non-conventional natural gas and shale gas exploration and development work is in full swing in China.China's oil and gas exploration areas is becoming more and more extensively,and foreign exploration and development of shale gas theory and technology mature.In this paper,evaluation of shale gas resources in theHetao Basin,Cretaceous and Paleogene Oligocene?Eocene clay shale is a combination of regional tectonic and depositional setting of the Hetao basin,results of previous studies,well logging,under the guidance of the basic theory of the sedimentology and petroleum geology for the research of the following three aspects:(1)The Hetao basin,Cretaceous and Paleogene Oligocene,Eocene develops semi-deep lake facies,lacustrine,shallow lake and delta facies.The Lower Cretaceous and Paleogene Oligocene,Eocene develop dark argillaceous rocks,effective mud counts on 11 sets of strata,effective shale up to 524-633m.shale develops in the shallow lake-semi-deep lacustrine.(2)Study the relationship between shale gas adsorption content and the TOC.temperature simulation experimental study showed that:at the same temperature,the mud shale of Ordos Basin margin adsorption test of gram size and sample's TOC obvious being related to sexual.Through statistical analysis of experiments,measured the shale adsorbed gas content of Ordos basin margin and the TOC,established the quantitative relationship between the two.(3)Organic geochemical studies show that the Hetao Basin have good geological conditions to generate shale gas,the abundance of organic matter is medium,an average of about 0.8%.Type of organic matter Palaeogene Oligocene,Eocene hybrid,a small amount of sapropel;Lower Cretaceous hybrid,a small amount of humic.maturity of organic matter 0.55-1.09%.The Linhe depression Cretaceous and Eocene,Oligocene evolution of organic matter have a higher degree of respiratory and Huhe depression have low organic matter evolution.(4)Integrate the Hetao basin shale distribution characteristics of lower Cretaceous and Paleogene Oligocene,Eocene,shale gas constituency standard of the favorable areas and prospect area,initially identified the Hetao Basin shale gas prospect area and favorable area.the Hetao basin Miocene,Eocene carved out a favorable area and three prospective areas:Linhe favorable area?Linhe prospect area?Dalateqi area and Bitan 1 well area.
