The Studies On The Causation Of Technical Artifacts

In the history of philosophy in science,the concept of causality is one of the core issues,it is often the topic of discussion in the field of philosophy.With the continuous development of science and technology,the relationship between the complexity of the causal and technical artifacts which is a topic worth exploring.According to the particularity of technology,this paper attempts to study the causation in the philosophy of science,try to do a research on the causation of technical artifacts.This article is divided into five parts altogether.Chapter I as introduction,it briefly introduces the background and significance of the research,reviewing and summarizing the current research status at home and abroad,and introduces the research methods.Chapter II tries to analyze the basic concept and the model of technical artifacts,including the dual model of technical artifacts and the system model of technical artifacts,in order to find the relationship between the structure and function.Chapter III talk about the research on the causality,it is based on the definition of causality,then makes a conditional logic analysis of causality,do the investigation the Mackie's condition model-INUS definition in particularly.Chapter IV is the most important chapter of this article,this part tries to do the studies on the causation of technical artifacts,including the duality analysis of the technical artifacts,basing on the interpretation of "difficult issues" and "logical gap" in the function and structure,which is willing to find out the appropriate paths of causal analysis on the technical artifacts-causal explanation of technical regulations and causal statements of technical failure.In Chapter V,one case of technical artifacts-the printing machine has been selected.On the one hand,we try to use the logical symbols to express technical failure.On the other hand,we try to use fault tree analysis(FTA),built the fault tree of the printing machine,find out the reason of technical failure with graphic,finally achieve the goal of causal explanation.In a word,this article has done a lot of basic research of causation from the perspective of logic.I attempt to find a new philosophical perspective,do a new analysis on this topic with the help of the theoretical research,finally realizes the causal explanation of practical significance.
