The Liaodong area is located in the Jiaoliao continental block of the North China Carton,and it is one of the very important gold minerals areas in China.Based on the study of the typomorphic characteristics of pyrite in the Taoyuan gold deposit,Qingcheng mining area,Liaoning,this paper combines the characteristics of the geochemical primary halo and core sample electrical properties(mainly including polarizability and resistivity)to sum up the metallogenic regularity of the deposit,evaluate the potential of deep resources,predict the favorable location of the ore formation,and discuss the Taoyuan gold deposit.It provides theoretical basis for prospecting potential and prospecting direction in the next stage.The main understanding of the paper is as follows:The thermoelectric test results show thermoelectric coefficient of type P pyrite in the main metallogenic stage of Taoyuan gold deposit varies from 2~339 to ?V/?,the concentration area is 100~240?V/?,and the average occurrence rate of P type pyrite is 63.52%.The results of thermoelectric test show that there is no significant spatial distribution rule in the P type rate of pyrite along the direction of the 179 th exploration line,and the higher P rate is found above the-20 m elevation.Comparing the spatial position of crypto explosive breccia,it is deduced that the higher P type rate above-20 m elevation is caused by hidden explosion.According to the calculation of pyrite thermoelectricity,the range of depth index(gamma)is 32%-81%,and most of the value is less than 65%,and it is fluctuating,suggesting that the deposit may be superimposed by multiple metallogenic events.In addition,based on the thermoelectric properties of pyrite,the temperature of the ore-forming fluid is about 260-320 degrees.The study of geochemical primary halo shows that the spatial memory controlled by 4 boreholes in the 179 th exploration line of the Taoyuan gold mine is in the combination of Sb-Cu-Pb-Zn-Sn-Mn inhomogeneous primary halo.The anomalies and gold mineralization may be related to the sudden change of physical and chemical conditions of ore bearing fluids due to concealed blasting.The test results of the resistivity and polarizability of the core samples suggest that there is a low resistance and high polarization zone with a NW-SE strike in the deep part of the mining area,which is consistent with the trend of the sharp mountain fracture.According the above results are instructed to further study the deep prospecting direction of Taoyuan gold deposit.
