In recent years, with the rapid development of the industrial sector, PLCtechnology is increasingly used in mechanical, electrical, food, chemical and other fields,while the safety of the plant site and the whole production system equipment also putforward higher requirements. Based on the current direction of industrial development,the future of high efficiency, energy saving, safety control devices will be the future ofbusiness irresistible choice. These advanced equipment compared with conventionalcontrol equipment, with a very strong advantages: first reflected in the communication;followed by integration of different device information; finally safety and precision.This design is for the upgrading of a chemical plant in Guangzhou adhesiveequipment to the reactor as the main target of control. As an important device reactorchemical binders, and its direct impact on the health of the product is good or bad.However, the reactor equipment used in adhesives plant in Guangzhou, due to the lowdegree of automation, fault frequently, seriously affected the normal production plant, inorder to eliminate hidden dangers, it is necessary to adopt more advanced and morestable control of the whole of the original control system renovation therefore proposedto transform the entire production line project requirements.Adhesive chemical transformation project is to improve the safety of the entiresystem is running, reliability, and increase productivity. In the transformation, the maincontroller is used AB Controllogix type PLC L72, ControlNet communications networkwith high-speed control network, the system is mostly the main communication protocolEthernet/IP Ethernet communication speed, lower level for some other importantequipment monitoring, using MODBUS protocol master and slave communications.Based on project monitoring requirements, the design considered WonderwareIntouch10.1as PC interface software, and in order to be able to connect Intouch lowermachine interaction data seamlessly and in RSLINX network configuration to OPC as aservice in the end, add EXCEL as intermediate exchange data server for easy viewing historical data. Significance of this issue is that during the renovation projectimplementation process, designed to combine hardware and software supporting the PLCcontrol system, not only to ensure the safety of the entire production line, trouble-freeoperation, but also has high reliability, low cost, low power consumption, theadvantages of a good man-machine interface, the design of this embodiment of thetransformation of the domestic chemical companies in typical applications reactor, witha strong theoretical and practical significance.
