Due to the running environment,there are usually some corrosion,deformations and other damages in the transmission pipeline for oil and gas.In serious cases,it may cause leaks and major accidents.So,regular inspection on pipeline is one of the important measures to ensure the safety of its operation and maintenance.Ultrasonic testing,as one of the five conventional detection technologies,is widely used in petroleum pipeline inspection,material thickness measurement,non-destructive testing of aeronautics and astronautics,and many other fields.But,the traditional analog detectors exist many disadvantages such as low-accuracy,storage issues and so on.Aim at the above issues,this paper designs a set of digital ultrasonic intelligent testing device based on the ultrasonic pulse echo theory.This device uses the combination of ARM embedded system and the virtual instrument which has powerful features.This system uses modular design and it is convenient for the improvement of the system function and system maintenance.According to the basic principle of ultrasonic system,the thesis designs the scheme of the system,completes the design and verification of hardware circuit,and accomplishes the function of hardware,completes the apparatus of signal transmission.Specific work includes the following parts:In the first part the thesis completes the design of the system scheme according to the principle of ultrasonic system,achieves the selection of the core parts and software platform,and accomplishes the functions of signal transmission and storage.STM32 has been chosen as the main control chip because of high cost performance and low power consumption,and that multiple interfaces can improve the flexibility of the system.Through the use of Lab VIEW software,the system design of program becomes much simpler,and the development cycle and cost of the system have reduced.In the second part the thesis mainly completes the design of the transmission circuit,receiving circuit and the design of the power supply.The transmission circuit has chosen MOSFET as its core circuit.The trigger signal is produced by using STM32.And it makes transmission circuit produce high voltage pulse signal to encourage the ultrasonic transducer..The design of signal receiving circuit mainly completes limited range of the echo signal,amplifying,filtering and other functions.In order to ensure the reliability of the system,the receiving circuit chooses the IC chip which has low noise,low drift,high precision and high reliability.The design of power supply mainly includes the design of high voltage and chip.In the third part the thesis is the design of system software,including the design of STM32 software and the design of Lab VIEW software.It mainly completes the designs of PC program and interface,accomplishes the communication between STM32 and Lab VIEW,completes the system test and program design of the DAC curve fitting.Finally,the thesis debugs the circuit system of intelligent ultrasonic detection,tests each circuit in turn and gets the influences of different signal of ultrasonic detection circuit,and the experiment and simulation result has reached the expected goal.
