Mine battery locomotive is an important conveyance of current coal production, whitch plays an important role in the coal mining industry. Currently, coal mine battery locomotive used in most traditional series wound DC motor as a power source system, using step speed way to achieve speed control, when the governor need to consume a lot of energy in the series resistor, reduce the battery life.With the national energy conservation policy continues to promote and popularize, power enterprises to improve security and performance requirements under the urgent.Mine battery locomotive inevitable developed in the direction of high performance, low power and high battery life.So, AC motor instead of traditional DC motor will be the inevitable trend of mining battery locomotive speed control system development whitch will change the traditional string resistance velocity modulation way.In this paper, aiming at mining battery locomotive hard working conditions, frequent use and high stability requirement, in sensorless brushless DC motor speed control system as the study of traction, Key issues exist in the practical application which surrounds the mine battery locomotive.Finally, the vector control algorithm is applied to the sensorless brushless DC motor speed control system.This paper combining theory and practiceand focus on solving practical problems of mine battery locomotive control, research work is divided into the following sections:(1) Research and study of the structure and working principle of brushless DC motor, Proposed secondary rotor position detection method of the brushless DC motor; (2) Complete design of the vector control system, establish matlab simulation model of the brushless DC motor vector control system, then Simulation of the work related; (3)The brushless DC motor used in mine battery locomotive speed control system, using STM32F407ZET6 as the core controller, complete design of the mine locomotive power brushless DC motor speed control system; (4) Combination of hardware circuitry, Software section of this control system was designed on Keil MDK platform, respectively associated module debugging, eventually achieve the overall software design. Experiments show that:Mine battery locomotive speed control system based on vector control, can greatly reduce the probability of failure of the speed control system, reduce the torque ripple of the brushless DC motor, improve energy efficiency and stability of the system, better to be applied to the complex environment of coal mine environment.
