Water is the source of life.Now the situation of environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious,especially the problem of water pollution.Water pollution has posed a serious threat to the ecological environment and human survival.Currently,the method of monitoring water quality in our country is mainly through manual collection.We should make a concrete analysis of each samples back to the laboratory which has the shortcomings of poor real-time performance,secondary pollution and high cost and so on.In order to prevent the water environment pollution and reduce the influence of water pollution,we need to develop efficient and intelligent water quality monitoring system to assist traditional water quality monitoring methods and monitor the water quality information accurately and timely.This paper references the domestic and foreign research situation about water quality monitoring system.In this paper,a design scheme of water quality monitoring system based on ZigBee and Labview technology is designed,which is integrated with wireless sensor network technology and Labview technology.This system transmits the date collected by terminal sensor module to the coordinator through ZigBee network,which included temperature,PH and turbidity value information.Then,the coordinator transmits the date to the monitoring platform through the RS232.The monitoring platform is designed and written by Lab view software,it has the functions of user's system,a data processing system,SMS warning system and Web services.The function of user's system consists of user login and management.The data processing system's function concludes data collection,data processing,real-time display,data storage and query,etc.This paper first introduces the significance and the research situation about water quality monitoring system,and briefly describes the technical characteristics of ZigBee and Labview;Secondly,completed the overall design scheme of water quality monitoring system;Thirdly,designed the hardware and software in the system and selected TI's CC2530 ZigBee chip as the core device,modified and planted the ZigBee protocol stack defined by ZigBee Alliance;The monitoring platform is designed and written by Lab view software,it has the functions of user's system,a data processing system,SMS warning system and Web services;Finally,we expanded the function of the monitoring system based on the existing ZigBee equipment,simulated the distance measurement model by Matlab,designed the monitoring system by Labview software and used the RSSI ranging technology to locate the water pollutant.In this paper,the system is tested and the results are analyzed,and the expected target is achieved.
