Supplying materials to blast furnace iron making,sintering production constitutes an important component of iron-making industry.The yield and quality of sintered products are closely linked to the breathability of sintering mixtures.And appropriate moisture content serves as precondition for mixture breathability.To accurately control the mixture moisture,the control of mixture moisture and the design of the moisture control system were probed into,based on actual conditions of The Second Sintering Plant Affiliated to Tianjin Iron and Steel Group Co.,Ltd.Besides,the control system was modeled and simulated.At first,a brief introduction was made of existing research status and feasibility of the inspection and control of sintering feed moisture.Then the sintering production process was introduced,focusing mainly on the mixing process of sintering feed and the effect of moisture on sintering production.At last,the moisture control methods were finalized,and the moisture control system intended for the sintering mixtures was designed based on the methods.The moisture control system was composed of mixture 1 moisture control system and mixture 2 moisture control system.As to mixture 1 moisture control system,the computational model of front sludge feed,fuzzy PID control model and the control model for inner ring sludge feed,were designed and established.As mixture 2 moisture control system resembled mixture 1 moisture control system,only its front-feed and back-feed control models were briefed.To improve the accuracy of moisture control system,the models of real additive water quantity and of the quicklime assimilation were established,and elaboration was made of the modeling process and the model finalizing,Besides,model of the controlled objects of mixture 1 was established.Establishment of these models corrected and complemented the moisture control system of sintering mixtures.In the end,the control system was simulated and analyzed with Simulink,and comparison was made of the controlling effect of conventional PID and fuzzy PID.This verified the feasibility and superiority of the methods.Hence the research findings would play a referential role in practical production.
