The plastic injection molding machine (also known as injection molding machine) is a main molding equipment, by which every kinds of plastic parts are made from the thermoplastic or thermosetting plastics. With the widely used of the plastics in the fields of the electronic components, the medical equipment, the food packaging, the optical components, the automobile, the household electrical appliances etc., the demand for plastic injection products are gradually expanded, and the demands for the product quality and the precision have become higher and higher. Due to the large energy consumption, heavy pollution and low response characteristics of mechanical system, the traditional hydraulic injection molding machine is difficult to meet the market requirements, and the precision of product is also limited. In recent years, all the disadvantages above have been overcome, with the fast development of the AEIMM (i.e. All electric injection molding machine) successfully, which has been got the favour by the high-end customers.As the servo motor and servo drive system are too expensive, and as of to the restrictions of the large-power servo drive device performance and economy of that, a kind of electric hydraulic hybrid injection molding machine was appeared on the market, which were based on the technology of the full electric injection molding machine. It is a combined of the advantages of the AEIMM, such as energy saving, high speed, high precision, flexible technology and hydraulic injection molding machine of that, i.e. the characteristics of low cost, economy, heavy load capability.This article mainly aims at the structure calculation and design of the clamping device and the injection unit in the 260T hybrid injection molding machine. In the research of the structure of all kinds of all-electric injection molding machine existing and the hydraulic injection molding machine, on the basis of in-depth study, based on the technical features of all-electric injection molding machine, puts forward the layout of the clamping device and the injection mechanism structure design in the hydraulic hybrid injection molding machine.Through comparison and analysis of the several of scheme, a hybrid injection machine clamping device and the injection unit of structure was selected and developed. The design and calculation analysis has been made to the structure, by using the finite element analysis software for the selected scheme of main structure stress analysis, obtained the detailed distribution of stress, strain and deformation, the field of materials, and according to the results of the stress and strain distribution to structural optimization of structure details, to determine the final structure design of key parts. A structure design of the hybrid injection molding machine is completed finally in the article. A useful design scheme is given for high-end users of the injection molding products production and the hybrid injection molding machine developing.
