Needle selecting device is the key component of circular weft knitting machine.The needle selector is divided into a mechanical needle selector and an electronic needle selector.Electronic needle selection because of the rapid change of varieties,has become the mainstream of needle selection.The electromagnetic needle selector is one of the electronic needle selector,which is welcomed by the users because of its low cost.With the increase of the speed of the circular weft knitting machine,the reliability and the quick response of the needle selector are higher.In this paper,the key structural parameters analysis and optimization of electromagnetic needle selector are studied.The electromagnetic needle selector by embedded with a permanent magnet,an electromagnet,the needle selecting knife head needle selection frame and drive circuit etc..Based on the analysis of the working principle and structural parameters of the existing electromagnetic needle selector,the modeling and simulation based on the Ansoft Maxwell software is carried out,the rationality of the model and the simulation process are tested;taking the rotational torque and response time as the performance index,based on the static and transient simulation,the factors affecting the performance of the electromagnetic needle selector are analyzed in detail,such as the structure parameters of the core,the structure and parameters of the permanent magnet,the structure of the shell and the number of turns of the coil.According to the analysis results,the shell structure is improved and the structure parameters are optimized,Achieve the goal of optimizing the performance of electromagnetic needle selector.Analysis and optimization of the parameters of the electromagnetic needle selector.It provides reference for the design of high performance needle selector,It also provides an effective method for the performance analysis of needle selector,It makes up for the lack of basic research on the application of electromagnetic needle selector in china.
