Silicon manganese slag to producte slag wool.The acidity of silicon manganese slag is 2.04, which need to add the self-produce manganese slag(acidity=1.1) to adjust the acidity and viscosity for produced mineral wool, make its composition and temperature can meet the requirement of produced slag wool, simplifying the tempering process.The submerged arc furnace factory adjacent to workshopfor slag wool production, hot furnace slag temperature as high as 1300?, hot slag can direct charging, fully recycled slag waste heat, tempering and heat preservation technology are carried out within the furnace, with the aid of mature slag cotton production process, realized the comprehensive utilization of silicon manganese slag.In order to make full use of the latent heat of silicon manganese slag, developing potential of ironenterprise, producting energy saving heat preservation material, silicon manganese slag as raw materials was studied the feasibility of the direct production of mineral wool.(1) According to the performance of the slag cotton production raw material, adding different proportion can be determined through the experiment of carbon manganese slag ingredients of physical parameters, mainly from the density, surface tension, viscosity,melting point and melting speed on several aspects, such as the determination of physical properties of manganese ferroalloy slag and analysis.Find out the use of liquid and the reasonable ratio of silicon manganese slag as raw materials, namely to add 40% of the carbon manganese slag can better meet the mineral wool raw material condition of the melt, melt the performance indicators meet the slag cotton production requirements.(2) The material balance and heat balance calculation, and design the heating furnace of 28 t capacity and slag ladle of 6t capacity for mineral wool,at the same time to design the workshop process arrangement.(3) The transformer of electric furnace and graphite electrode design, choose to use 3000 kVA transformer and 400 mm graphite electrode.(4) Combined with type furnace design and the analysis of the raw material composition and performance measurement,proceed the installation and debugging of the furnace, in accordance with the requirements of the production after the experiment for industrialized production, and in terms of product quality and performance measurement, the problems of slag mouth equipment debugging process is introduced in detail.(5) the simple analysis of the economic benefits of slag wool production.
