Sewing machine is a complex mechanism system. As the speed increases, the vibration phenomenon is more and more obviously, the bad effect on the environment and the efficiency is also obviously. The whole vibration-reducing by optimizing of a single institution in industrial sewing machines, is not obviously. This thesis has a research on industrial package sewing machine and the work is listed as below:(1) The driving system and the important parts of the machine are introduced. Based on the true physical machine, multi-body dynamics of the package sewing machine is completed with the application of software Solidworks and Adams.(2) Vibration force and torque are extracted from the multi-body dynamics model. From these results, the weight of mechanism is optimized to reduce the imbalance of the mechanism.(3) With the high speed of main shaft, elastic components have been taken into consideration in the whole model. The coupling of rigid and flexible components have influence on the dynamical performance of the machine.(4) Vibration of the machine has been tested and also the modal of chassis is collected which can supply the basis for the optimization.This thesis has the research of package sewing machine with the method of rigid and flexible coupling method, and imbalance of the mechanism is computed and optimized. Vibration of the model and the modal of the chassis have been verified by the test data, these results can supply the instruction for package sewing machine design and manufacturing.
