Phenol is a special smell of the crystal,it is soluble in water after the acid,that endanger human health and animals and plants.There are many sources of phenol wastewater,such as:petrochemical plants,oil refineries,pesticide manufacturing and oilfield mining and other activities will produce phenol and its derivatives.Phenol is a priority control of pollutants,with high toxicity,difficult to degrade and other characteristics,it decided to contain the compound of the sewage into the environment before the need for its wastewater oxidation or degradation treatment.According to the characteristics of phenol wastewater,this paper first selected a separate ozone oxidation technology to remove phenol wastewater.The effects of different pH,ozone concentration,initial concentration of phenol and reaction time on the oxidation capacity of phenol,degradation ability and reaction rate were investigated.The experimental results show that the alkaline conditions are more prone to oxidative reaction than the acidic conditions,and the ozone concentration has a great influence on the removal of pollutants in the phenol wastewater.The change of reaction rate constant with time is investigated.The results show that the reaction belongs to quasi-first-order kinetics.The removal rate of phenol was only 60.4%under the optimum condition,although the removal efficiency of phenol was only a certain removal effect,but the effluent was not up to standard.Because the effect of ozone removal on the phenol wastewater is poor,the catalyst is introduced.The technology mainly uses the catalyst itself to enhance the strength of the oxidation reaction,so that the effluent in the wastewater meets the emission requirements.In this paper,three kinds of multi-metal-supported catalysts(MnO-CuO-FeO/AC,MnO-CuO-FeO/Al2O3 and MnO-CuO-CeO/Al2O3)were selected to combine ozone with ozone,respectively.The results show that the catalytic effect of the three catalysts is better than that of ozone alone.The catalytic activity of FeO-MnO-CuO activated carbon is the strongest.When the ozone concentration is 14.8 mg·L-1,the pH value is 9.53,the catalyst dosage is 7.5mg·L-1,the removal rate of phenol and COD reached 94.8%,53.58%,respectively.In addition,the oxidation principle and degradation process of ozone catalytic oxidation were studied.Ozone catalytic oxidation is the most advanced oxidation technology,through the experimental results found that the technology of oxidation of phenol is good,but there are still many problems,for example:COD removal rate is low and high cost.SBR-sequence intermittent activated sludge method has the characteristics of stable operation effect,simple process flow,low cost and high removal efficiency.The technology is used as the deep treatment system of sewage,and the degradation of COD and phenol is investigated.The experimental results show that the COD in the catalytic oxidation of the effluent is mainly macromolecule material produced by the oxidation of phenol.After treatment with SBR system,the removal rate of COD and phenol was stable at 95%and 93%respectively,and the effluent meets the emission requirements,which led to the degradation of phenol wastewater.Therefore,the combination of ozone catalytic oxidation and biotechnology in the deep treatment of phenol wastewater,with high stability and high efficiency characteristics,it determines whether in economic savings or in engineering applications on the new water treatment technology has a greater value.
