With the increase of demand for oil in China, the exploitation of offshore oil is more and more attention. related underwater operation machinery research and development is also gradually follow up. Due to the high pressure of subsea, bad environment, inconvenient operation,require a high degree of automation machinery, good sealing performance,so the design is more difficult. In China, there is still a certain gap compared with foreign in related technical field of Ocean Engineering. In recent years,our country attaches great importance to the underwater oil and gas pipeline maintenance technology. This paper research on foreign underwater pipeline maintenance related technologies,aims to develop a hydraulic control system for underwater pipeline repair tools.This paper studies the hydraulic part and control part of the underwater pipeline maintenance equipment. Firstly, according to the work environment of underwater pipeline repair systems and puts forward the design of the hydraulic and control system requirements.According to the function of equipment, Use modular method to design the hydraulic system.The whole hydraulic system can be divided into four parts: hydraulic power source, cutting tools rotation hydraulic system, tools feed and C-type hydraulic system, hydraulic cylinder system. The paper studied the hydraulic system pressure loss and the heat loss, the optimal pressure and the optimum temperature of hydraulic power source is calculated, to ensure that the hydraulic system to work properly. The simulation analysis of the hydraulic system by using AMESim software, according to the obtained results can provide the basis for the design of hydraulic system. The paper designed a control system of underwater pipeline repair equipment. The control system is divided into two parts: on the land and under the subsea.The console is the core of land machine,through the console can operate the underwater pipeline repair equipment. PLC is the core of the underwater machine. The PLC is connected with the hydraulic valve, hydraulic valve is controlled to complete the function of hydraulic actuator. The underwater pipeline repair equipment is provided with a plurality of flow sensor and pressure sensor, which can monitor the flow and pressure in real time. The sensor signal eventually is transferred to the PLC and through the optical fiber to the host computer system.This paper designed the underwater pipeline maintenance machinery of the hydraulic control system, it is important for enhancing the relevant technical of underwater pipeline repairs. Through the research on underwater hydraulic control system, this paper can provide some reference for the hydraulic system and control system about ocean engineering technology.
