With the rising of people’s living standard and the developing of science and technology,people’s requirement for health and clean is constantly proved.Products with the function of antibacterial had become a public necessary needs of daily life.Antibacterial agents and their commercial production has become a new industry,as a result,new study of environmental and effective antimicrobial has a great practical significance and market value.Firstly,the paper introduces the research background of antibacterial agent,make a brief introduction of its classification and mechanism,Secondly,this subject synthesize elemental silver doped hydrophobic silica material,which called hydrophobic precursors to choose methyltriethoxy silane(MTES),by sol-gel method.Characterization of hydrophobic of silver dropped hydrophobic silica materials is calculated by measuring contact Angle and surface free energy and determined the optimum calcination temperature 400℃.The physical and chemical structure of the materials is characterized through XRD and UV-visible absorption spectra,proved by high temperature roasting,as the elemental form of silver,it has no effect on the structure of silica materials.Through the analysis of FTIR spectra,the hydrophobic group Si-CH3 has been introduced into the silver dropped silica materials materials.Measuring silica material performance,through the tablet colony counting method,silver antibacterial properties on Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus antibacterial rate can reach 97.66%and 97.66%respectively.Further,make the silver dropped SiO2 into antibacterial finishing material liquid,with finishing method and surface coating method to add on surface of polyester fiber fabric,fabric antibacterial,and test and discuss the antibacterial properties of antibacterial fabric with the bacteriostatic circle method.Experiments proved that silica material has excellent antibacterial effect,especially for Escherichia coli,Staphylococcus aureus and mold.Finally,this paper discussed the application field of silicon dioxide silver material,with the minimum bacteriostasis concentration experiment,determined the most economical silver mixed proportion for nAg= 0.25.
