The edge of the cold rolling strip the thinning problem,in this paper,six different models of roller mill as the research object,the reduction of cold rolling thin strip edge for more in-depth analysis and research,the main research contents are as follows:Firstly,this paper introduces the definition,quantitative expression method and mechanism of edge thinning of cold rolled strip.The edge thinning is mainly caused by two main factors,which are the work roll and the strip contact in the direction of the roller body,the elastic flattening is not uniform,and the transverse flow of the metal inside the strip.Roll elastic flattening between edge contact zone approximation as plane stress problem,and the contact between the central roll elastic flattening approximation as plane strain problem,and derive a hypothesis for short beam roll roll elastic flattening coefficient is established between roll elastic flattening coefficient mixed correction theory model and elastic work roll and strip flattening correction theory model;Secondly,on the basis of roll flattening correction coefficient of the mixed model,established the cold rolling process of strip edge drop and flatness calculation model,a method is given to solve the elastic flattening coefficient weighted coefficient,collect the actual production data and combined with the Powell method to establish the optimal weighted fitting coefficient.Finally,the corresponding software for predicting the edge thinning is developed.Simulated the work roll and strip and between the work roll and intermediate roll and the intermediate roll and supporting roll elastic flattening coefficient distribution curve;the metal distribution of typical rolling sliding function calculation under the product specifications.Comparative analysis of actual production data to verify the accuracy of the model;Finally,the influence factors of the six roll CVC mill and the edge of the UCM rolling mill were analyzed by using the parameters of the equipment and the process parameters of the typical products in the production site.For the two kinds of models,strip thickness,entrance reduction and deformation resistance on edge reduction effect of thin,and proportional relationship;with the increase of strip width,edge thinning increases first,when reaching a certain width,with the width increases,edge thinning gradually began to decrease work;the roll bending force and intermediate roll bending force on the strip edge thinning effect of the same,with the increase of bending force,strip edge thinning reduced,work roll bending force on the strip edge thinning effect is more obvious;whether the intermediate roll left or right to move,will make the edge thinning decreases,and edge thinning decreased significantly greater than the bending force decrease of thin edge drop.The control ability of the six roll CVC mill,HC mill,UCM mill and AS-UCM mill on the edge thinning and the strip shape control ability were analyzed and compared.
