Graphite material has been widely used in lithium ion battery and graphite electrode production for its excellent properties,such as good thermal conductivity,high crystallinity and low thermal expansion coefficient.The graphitization process is the key process of converting non-graphitic carbon materials into graphite,and it has a great influence on the quality of graphite products.Acheson graphitization furnace is the main type in domestic production of graphite furnace,at present,most carbon enterprises still use manual adjustment to distribute graphite furnace power.This mode of control is in low automation level,unfavorable to improving the product quality of graphitization,also affecting enterprise management and development.According to the existing situation and market demand analysis of graphitization,this thesis takes a carbon plant in Chongqing as the research object.Combined with computer control technology,fieldbus technology,configuration software technology and information processing technology,a new kind of Acheson furnace automatic monitoring system is designed and developed based on RS-485 bus.The system is designed by INSPEC configuration software with an IPC as the control host,and its analog and switch signals are processed by a PCI8620 multi-function interface card of Altai.The original manual operation mode has been replaced by the automatic control system to realize Acheson graphitization furnace power distribution.And those real-time operation parameters can be collected.managed,saved,extracted and displayed automatically.In the LAN,the user terminal equipment can be connected with the system host through SPC exchange and fibre-optical,in order to realize the remote monitoring function for improving the intelligent level of the graphitization monitoring system.Aimed at technical indicators and requirements of the monitoring system,firstly,this thesis introduces the overall design scheme of data acquisition and control system,and the basic principle of the hardware modules.Then,the configuration realization method and software flow charts are illustrated based on the graphitization production process.The design results of the monitoring system are described and analyzed at last.The graphitization monitoring system has been running for about one year on the graphitization production line of a carbon enterprise in Chongqing with 100 production cycles.And the results show that the system is stable,reliable and easy to operate,and it can reduce power consumption and improve the quality of graphite products effectively.It shows that the monitoring system meets the requirements of enterprise process with significant engineering application value.
