Beijing-Tianj in-Hebei?BTH?region is one of the areas which have the most serious air pollution in China.The prevention and control of PM2.5 pollution is the essential task of the atmospheric pollution control in the country.Relevant policies are also proposed for the regional air quality targets in BTH region.Structure of the energy consumption in China is still mainly primary energy consumption structure.According to related research,coal consumption could cause environmental pollution,influence the social stability and social development,which might destroy ecology and disturb the normal life of residents.Therefore,it is necessary to study on the characteristics of pollutants discharge and the impact on BTH haze of main coal-consumption industries?thermal power industry and steel coking industry?.Through studying on different.air quality target scenarios of the main coal-consumption industries,analyzing the impact of main coal-consumption industries emission reduction on haze,the work can provide a theoretical basis for BTH regional emission reduction policies.In this study,the author established the main coal-consumption industries emission inventory in BTH region in 2013.Based on the analysis of the loading structure and pollutant discharge characteristics of the main coal-consumption industries in BTH region,used MM5-CALPUFF model to simulated the haze pollution under different emission reduction scenarios,analyzed the characteristics of pollutants discharge and the PM2.5 contribution of main coal-consumption industries emissions to the pollutants in the whole BTH region and compared the air quality of different scenarios based on different emission standards and structural adjustment policies with the air quality of air quality target in BTH region.This research shows that in 2013,the total emissions of main coal-consumption industries in BTH region were 723.5 million tons of SO2,1313.9 million tons of NOx and 303.6 million tons of PM10.Tangshan,Handan,Tianjin and Langfang,those four cities show essential pollutant emissions and coal consumption,are densely coal-consumption industries distribution cities.In 2013,the average contribution rate of major coal-consuming industries in the BTH region to the PM2.5 pollutant in the region was 50.77%.In each scenario,a north-south direction heavy polluted zone including Handan,Xingtai,Shijiazhuang,Baoding and the southern part of Beijing is presented along the BTH region.This is closely related to the industrial distribution in the surrounding cities,and is related to the topography and meteorological conditions.According to the scenario research,Beijing,Tianjin,and Shijiazhuang cannot meet the 2017-2020 environmental air quality targets set by the government.Shijiazhuang cannot meet the 2017-2020 environmental air quality targets even if there is no main coal-consumption industries emission in BTH.
