In recent years,the oil and gas pipeline network has been expanding continuously,and is playing an increasingly important role in the field of energy transportation and supply.However,pipeline leakage accidents occur frequently,posing a serious threat to the operation and safety of the pipeline.The leakage detection technology applied to the pipeline can detect the leakage in time and reduce the accident loss.As one of the most advanced technology of pipeline leak detection,infrasound leak detection technology has high research value.Based on the empirical mode decomposition theory,this paper makes an in-depth study on the infrasound leak detection technology of the oil and gas pipeline by experiment,theoretical analysis and calculation.Firstly,the filtering method of pipeline leakage infrasound signal is studied.Through the laboratory leakage experiment,the burst leakage of long pipeline is simulated,and the leakage signal of liquid pipeline is extracted.This paper uses the empirical mode decomposition algorithm to filter the leakage signals,and proposes an improved algorithm and a quantitative evaluation criterion for the traditional EMD algorithm,which has the disadvantage of endpoint effect and modal mixing.Through the treatment of experiment signal and the leakage signal of natural gas pipeline,satisfactory filtering noise reduction effect is obtained.Secondly,the detection and location algorithm for the infrasound leak detection is studied.Based on the generalized cross-correlation delay estimation algorithm,the quadratic correlation time-delay algorithm is applied,and the results show that the latter can improve the positioning accuracy.Moreover,on the basis of the above research,this paper designed a pipeline leakage detection and positioning system based on infrasound technology.The system performance test is carried out through the leakage data of natural gas pipeline,and the results show that the system has high positioning accuracy and good stability.
