As a new type of cryogenic separation device,the supersonic separator has the advantages of clean environment,high separation efficiency,low energy dissipation,simple structure,safe and reliable operation and low engineering investment,which is used by many oil and gas field companies at home and abroad to dehydrate the natural gas.Because domestic research and industrial applications for supersonic separation technology are not yet mature,the supersonic separator is subjected to an indoor test to further study the structure of the flow field in the supersonic state.And the impact of process-related parameter changes,optimizing the structure of the device,and ultimately solve the technical problems of supersonic separators for industrial production.This article compares and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of supersonic separation technology in the field of natural gas dehydration,and studies the working principle and design method of the supersonic separator.The key components of the supersonic separator of the previous study were structurally improved and designed,processed,manufactured,and assembled.A set of supersonic separation devices for laboratory experiments was designed,and a supersonic separator experimental platform and experimental system were designed and completed.The establishment of experimental data acquisition system.The detailed operation flow and related experimental considerations of the supersonic separator laboratory were programmed.Two experimental schemes were designed and the laboratory experiments under the experimental scheme were completed.The experimental data were collected and the experimental data were analyzed in detail.Using the Ansys ICEM CFD for structured meshing of the two physical models created,Fluent 15.0 was used to simulate the flow field of a model without a separation wing and a model with a separation wing,and detailed simulation results were obtained.Analyze and compare the difference between simulation results and experimental results.Some suggestions were made on the improvement of subsequent experiments and simulation studies.In this paper,according to the research and analysis of the separator's experiments and simulations,the structural changes of the separator and different experimental conditions and other factors have been used to determine the position,range and rotational separation of the pressure,velocity,temperature and shock waves in the entire flow field.The impact.The experimental and simulation results show that the experimental separator complies with the design requirements of the supersonic separator and the flow field variation law.The simulation and experimental results under the same working conditions and the same model are basically close.
