With the rapid development of science and technology,and the gradual enrichment of the type of parts,the method of processing parts is more and more,therefore,the processing technology and processing tools have put forward more stringent requirements.Most parts processing is mainly mechanical processing,in which,the use of broaching is more widely,because it has the advantages of high precision,high processing efficiency and one-time molding.However,the shortage of the United States is one of the broaching tools,the manufacturing process is more complex,its design cycle is long,therefore the cost is high.As we all know,there are many holes in the mechanical parts,in life,most of the holes in the mechanical parts are in the hole,the processing method is for broaching,faster and more accurate,so more applications.While there are square holes in some parts,it is not suitable to process the square hole according to the hole processing method.There are many processing methods of square hole,such as die forging punching,profiling milling hole,jack and so on,the above methods in the actual use of labor intensity,work efficiency is not high,the most important is not to achieve mass production.If the batch production method is not suitable.Through consulting the data found that the square hole broach technology processing square hole work efficiency is high,can also achieve mass production.Square hole broach is mainly to process square hole broaching tool.The complicated structure and long design cycle of broach,how to shorten the design time,and improve the design accuracy,so as to improve the economic benefits.How to design a square hole broach is very important,for the above reasons,I have carried out the design research of square hole broach,and use modern design means to achieve the above purposes,the main research is as follows:1.Starting from the trend of the development of cutting tools at home and abroad,this paper analyzes the broach development present situation at home and abroad,discuss the application of finite element method to simulate cutting.2.Reference to the characteristics of the round hole broach to analyze square hole broach structure characteristics and performance.According to the principle of broach design standard and design,design of broaching,and parameter optimization scheme of broaching,found a design scheme of optimization,the innovation points to prefabricate hole processing for the waist type hole,and then calculate the amount of rough cutting tooth gear up to0.15 mm,transitional tooth gear up quantity is 0.06 mm,fine teeth gear up quantity is0.05 mm,anterior horn is 6 °,should the crumbs slot form for the tooth back curve,etc.Finally determine the parameters of the broach,the size of the design out of the broach to 1006±3 mm.Finally,the design of the broach intensity,draw strength is 148.9 MPa,much lower than the allowable stress,through the stress analysis,it is concluded that the best broaching speed is 6 m/min,finally realize the integral design of the square hole broach.3.Using Solid Works software to establish the three-dimensional entity model of the square hole broach,among them,the broach consists of seven parts,the whole processing way,on this basis,the transform graph of 3 d software for CAD graphic view.4.Establish a square hole broach broaching finite element simulation model,according to broach force that dangerous section for rough cutting teeth first blade,therefore,the finite element analysis is given priority to with the most dangerous section,by analyzing the stiffness meet the requirements.For improving broach force,provide theoretical basis for the reasonable design broach structure at the same time to shorten the time of design.
